Hi everyone,
I'm excited to share that I'm launching a behavior change for conservation workshop series in January!
This online program will focus on equipping conservation practitioners with the skills needed to reduce unsustainable behaviors and mobilize communities towards conservation action.
I hope you will consider joining the workshop series yourself and share this opportunity with others who may be interested.
Overall, this workshop series is a good fit for individuals and teams who:
  • Are trying to inspire new conservation behaviors in their communities.
  • Communicate with members, subscribers, and followers and wish they would get more actively involved in the cause.
  • Work with volunteers and need new ways of motivating them to stay engaged and take action.
  • Are looking for ways to take existing community outreach efforts to the next level and sustain the momentum achieved.
  • Just want their colleagues to clean their dirty dishes!!! #kiddingnotkidding
In essence, if your program is asking people to get more engaged in conservation activities - whether it's through donating, joining, advocating or changing their own behaviors - then this workshop will provide fresh insights, ideas and tools to create your movement.
This six-week program begins on January 16, 2019. Featuring one live lesson a week, we will walk through the steps needed to:
  1. Identify achievable behavior change goals;
  2. Prioritize audiences for outreach;
  3. Assess barriers to behavior change;
  4. Select most compelling message frames to see results; and,
  5. Determine appropriate forms of communication and outreach.
There are a bunch of other goodies, too! Like downloadable worksheets, opportunities to have your work reviewed between lessons, invitation to a private LinkedIn group to exchange ideas, the option to add a private Q&A session to the course, and a certificate of completion.
All the details of what the workshop includes and how you can register can be found here.
