Please name your RCP or the reason you want to join the RCP Network
The West Suburban Conservation Council (WSCC) is an actively growing network within the Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord Rivers Watershed.
What has your RCP or organization done that others will be interested in learning?
The WSCC serves 36 towns within the SuAsCo Watershed. These towns span from urban Lowell, all the way down to rural Grafton. Just 30 - 60 mins outside Boston, our service region bridges conservation between city, suburbia, and agricultural landscapes. Others can learn about our tactics to engage diverse audiences and prioritize regional conservation goals across town's with varying degrees of open space prioritization.
What are you interested in working on with other members of the RCP Network?
The WSCC is interested in partnering on grants, learning how land trusts and environmental organizations are working to promote agricultural conservation, CPA case studies, coordinating a cost of community services survey, and practicing conservation in unconventional locations.
