Please name your RCP or the reason you want to join the RCP Network

To support RCPs and the network in expanding its conservation work, and to collaborate to bring more coordination, dollars and priority setting around farmland conservation and access.

What has your RCP or organization done that others will be interested in learning?

We work with thousands of farmers, landowners, service providers, policy makers and communities to put more farmers, more securely on more land in New England and beyond. We work with many land trusts throughout the region on farmland access issues, including facilitating farmland purchases by farmers, providing TA on farm succession, training real estate professionals, educating other service providers, working on state and federal farmland policy, etc.

What are you interested in working on with other members of the RCP Network?

Improving farmers' access to farmland, security of tenure and ability to pass on working farms to realize long-term farm viability and stewardship - and protection where possible.
