The RCP Network Steering Committee is piloting the 2017-2018 RCP Exchange Program with funding from Highstead.
Up to four grants of $2500 are available to enable leaders from "Giving" RCPs to help "Receiving" RCPs learn a new skill or implement a strategy or set of tools, for example.
First, RCPs seeking assistance are invited to fill out this online "Training Statement of Interest" by June 1, 2017.
Over the summer, we'll share without attribution the subjects, tools, or needs of these RCPs and ask people from other RCPs to apply for the opportunity to train or otherwise assist them. RCP members interested in participating as trainers would apply (in coordination with their RCP) by filling out a similar online form by August 1, and the exchanges will hopefully get going by mid-September.
If the pilot is successful (based on participant evaluations), Highstead is prepared to continue to support the program at the same level of funding for two more years after which continued demand for the program will be assessed.
Important dates for the program include:
• May 2, 2017 – Launch of 2017-2018 RCP Exchange, Posting of the RFP and Receiving RCP proposal form.
• June 1, 2017 – Deadline for submission of the Receiving RCP online proposal form.
• July 1, 2017 – Posting of RCPs’ training objectives and needs on RCPNetwork.org and LinkedIn RCP Group's page.
• August 1, 2017 – Deadline for submission of the Giving RCP form/online statement of interest, expertise, and capacity.
